Washoe County plans to inspect all key and essential treatment BMPs in accordance with the protocols described in the BMP RAM User Manual V2 (2ndNature, 2015). These inspections are used to assess condition/performance and initiate maintenance on an annual basis.
Inspection of all stormwater infrastructure assets occurs annually during the spring, summer or fall. Additional inspections may occur after major precipitation events. See the attached EIVph1reg2 BMP Registration Memo Final for the underground Stormchamber unit and rock-lined basin BMP RAM assessment protocols.
