The City plans to maintain treatment BMPs within CSLTG11 based on BMP RAM, the manufacturer’s specifications and NPDES inspection (drainage system inspection requirements). Cartridge filters are considered to be essential BMPs and will be maintained by Public Works staff on an as-needed basis dependent on inspection results. Maintenance consists of cartridge replacement and/or sediment removal. Replacement of the the cartridge filters will be performed during periods of dry weather, while cleaning of the pre-treatment vaults can occur a variety of conditions. The City cleans the pre-treatment twice per year at a minimum, and plans to replace the cartridge filters once every three years (or as required by inspections and the manufacturer’s protocols).
