The City completed the Sierra Tract, 3 & 4 erosion control project in 2016 with a 2 year registration, since the Sierra Blvd Complete Streets project was slated for completion in 2019. The Complete Streets project was delayed and will be online October 2019. This registration is for the WY 2018/19 interim year to continue the previous registration until the complete street project is completed and the revised version ready for the WY 2019/20 registration cycle.

The City plans to maintain treatment BMPs within Sierra Tract 3&4 based on BMP RAM and NPDES inspections. Essential and Key BMPs and will be maintained by the City Street Maintenance crew on an As-Needed basis. Maintenance will be performed by backhoe and/or hand crew (possible CCC work) to remove excess sediment from the basins. Emphasis will be placed on restoring the soil in the basins to an infiltration rate consistent with the BMP RAM benchmark value. Trash will be removed from the LID capture systems will also b in accordance with the City's 2018 Trash Implementation Plan.
The City plans to inspect all treatment BMPs with Sierra Tract 3&4 in accordance with the BMP RAM and the Municipal NPDES permit to assess performance or maintenance needs. Inspections will take place beginning in spring and will continue through the fall. Essential and Key BMPs will be inspected according to the BMP RAM and NPDES permit. Engineering staff will use the Constant Head Permeameter (CHP) to determine the infiltration rate of the basin. Staff Gauges will also be utilized to determine the amount of sediment in the Basins. Staff will also perform a visual inspection and record results with a handheld GPS unit or field tablet. Inspections of all Basins will take place in the late spring or early summer. Trash assessment will also be completed in accordance with the State Trash Policy and City's 2018 Trash Implementation Plan.
Will be updated next year (WY 201920) to include Sierra Blvd improvements.
